Dr William Smith

Dr William Smith was a software engineer before becoming a doctor. He attended medical school in Perth, WA and spent his junior doctor years in the remote north of the state. Since then he has completed his General Practice training and Emergency Medicine associateship in Albany, WA. After a working holiday in Tasmania in 2025 William and his family decided to move to the Huon Valley. 

Dr William has special areas of interest in men's health, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease and heart failure. He also works in Emergency Medicine in other locations around the country.
